Candice is currently the Creative Director for the Luxury Event Management firm, CANDICE&ALISON in Toronto. She, along with her partner Alison Slight, execute fashion, lifestyle and arts driven events from multi-million dollar budgets to intimate exclusive soirees. With a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, CANDICE&ALISON has executed world class events for brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, MINI Canada, Rolls Royce, Louis Vuitton, Lucian Matis and Spanner to name a few.
Prior to starting her own company, Candice was the Brand Director of a high end fashion chain while prominent in the fashion industry for over 8 years. Known for her ability to execute 'chic', her diverse creative direction extends into branding and communications inclusive of advertising campaigns, photo shoot direction, event design & production, graphic & web communications, retail space design, packaging design and product development. This highly specialized background in the Fashion Retail market in Toronto and
throughout Canada has made her a regular on the fashion and lifestyle scene around the city.
Through her professional role and involvement in the social scene, CANDICE has nurtured invaluable relationships with prominent Canadian media, photographers, model/styling agencies, retailers, developers and other industry members. This has resulted in numerous media appearances as a ‘fashion expert’ including Fashion Television, E! Talk, Entertainment Tonight Canada, CityTV’s Breakfast Television, The Toronto Sun, and was recently named ‘Woman of the Day’ by the Women’s Post.
Candice joined the Fashion Group International Board of Directors in 2006 and was nominated by the Board to Co-Chair the FGI Night of Stars Gala in 2008. Candice provided leadership and artistic direction to Canada’s largest and most prestigious fashion industry event. The vastly acclaimed awards ceremony honours leading Canadian/International stars such as DSquared2 and Wayne Clark. In 2009, Candice successfully redesigned the FGI Student Forum as ‘FGI FASHION//NEXT’ where relevant industry icons such as Suzanne Boyd, H&M and Holt Renfrew spoke to a sold-out audience of Post Secondary fashion students.
