Leesa Butler has used her career in marketing to fulfill a dream in fashion. After years working in small advertising/public relations agencies in her hometown area of Washington DC/Baltimore, Leesa gained online experience during the dot-com boom in New York. She relocated to Canada in 2002 and founded Divine Lab to consult companies in evolving their web presence to incorporate Web 2.0 philosophies. Finally merging a lifelong love affair with fashion and her career passions, Leesa launched the fashion portal The F-list (www.f-list.ca) in October 2006 to promote Canadian fashion designers and create a loyal community of supporters.
Throughout the year Leesa often plays hostess to celebrities with Tastemakers, a collaborative venture (with rock-it promotions’ Debra Goldblatt) that creates gift lounges at high-end celebrity events in Canada. She is also a freelance writer for various publications.
